Roof repair vs. roof replacement

Repairing your roof is always a better option over installing a new roof. In most cases, your roof will last for several years after the first leak is detected. Once WCI has repaired the leak, you'll have extra savings from not replacing, and a worry free roof. We take great care to avoid placing you in a "must-do-it-now" situation, however we are ready at your disposal if that shall occur

	Roof Cleaning Pressure wash the entire roof surface with 3000 psi to remove all dirt, dust, oils, previous paints and coatings that are delaminating and achieve a clean sound bondable substrate. Some roofs may require special detergents, which are environmentally friendly.
	Roof Prep After the surface has been completely washed, the entire surface is walked. We use a T-bar with a socket on the end to torque down all fasteners. If the screw spins in the hole we remove it and replace it with a larger diameter one. Some roofs may require that tar or “bull” be removed or sealed before they are coated.
	Roof Priming Prime the roof to ensure good adhesion of all coatings. We have primers suitable for almost all roof types. Even totally rusted roofs. This is an highly essential process, otherwise the rust will continue to eat away the metal under the coating. Eventually the rust will rot the underside of the roof and then bleed through. NO MORE RUST!
	Roof Sealing & Waterproofing All seams (vertical & horizontal), penetrations, and parapet walls should be waterproofed using our polyester cloth embedded in waterproof material. All fasteners are sealed as well with elastomeric waterproofing. At this point the roof is essential waterproof. NO MORE LEAKS!
	Roof Coating Inspect the roof for defects, flaws, loose items and any open seams or screws. Apply the elastomeric base coating to the entire roof surface locking in the waterproofing. Finally the finish coat is applied to produce a seamless, watertight membrane.
	Finished Roof Final inspection on the roof 2-4 weeks after the coating has dried. No more worries about leaks, and the energy savings will start the moment the coating is installed. BETTER THAN NEW!
