While the majority of the surfaces protected by WEATHERSHIELD are metal, many other surfaces can be coated. The following warranties apply to standard metal jobs. For warranty coverage on other surfaces, please contact the office.
MATERIALS
The manufacturer's of the products applied by WEATHERSHIELD
typically give a ten or 15 year warranty on their products from date of
installation, when the product is applied per their specifications.
Manufacturer's also offer labor warrantees.
LABOR
WEATHERSHIELD
COATINGS,
INC.
warrantees the labor for ten
years from the installation date on most jobs.
NO PRORATIONS
Neither material nor labor warranties are prorated.
Situations covered by the warranties are resolved without regard for the
age of the installation.
INSPECTIONS
All WEATHERSHIELD
installed
jobs are inspected annually at no additional cost. Any warranty-covered
repairs will be done at no cost to the customer.
RENEWALS
Most warranties may be renewed for two (2) successive
ten years terms, for a total of thirty years when renewed during the tenth
(10) year of the warranty. The cost for each renewal, which includes
a cleaning and recoat, is usually 50% of the original job cost plus any
increase in the consumer price index.
